Has Shia LaBeouf become an example of a solo storyteller?

Over the past couple of weeks, i have taken into consideration the controversy that has been surrounding Hollywood actor Shia Labeouf. If we was to flash back to early last year, he did a durational performance piece which was titled ‘#IAMSORRY’. All he would do is sit own in a suit with a paper bag over his head which says ‘i am not famous anymore’ and allow audience members to observe his minimal set, which holds a bottle of Jack Daniels, a ukulele, a toy and many other objects that are seemingly connected to his life. He appears to break the boundary of traditional acting, even bordering the Site Specific realm, but that’s entirely irrelevant.  His recent erratic behavior is allegedly all part of this performance art.

The question still remains: is he a solo artist or just an actor whose sanity has been pushed to the extremities?
